EN: The story is very well written, with interesting connections to the world we conceived as real. The illustrator who worked on the series managed to attract both new readers and those who were already interested since the previous seasons.

As of chapter 79 -

I was hesitant to read this book, but I am now quite glad that I did. This was a nice change of pace/twist in that the story focuses more on the MC and side characters mental/emotional growth or changes as they experience life. I also want to give a shout out to the author for creating a MC that has been struggling with grief/severe depression and learns to slowly move forward with their life.

Minor Gripes:

1. I still can't grasp the main concept of a MC who practically slept (wasted) away his entire childhood while his "loving" family just watched from the sidelines. If they hated/didn't care about him, then that would have made more sense.

2. I don't like characters with a sibling complex/tsunderes, so the little sister really irks me.

3. The artwork was pretty meh at the start but has slightly improved over time. I mean, the girls and boys faces and bodies looked almost indistinguishable from each other during the academy arc; actually, I think the two girls looked manlier than the guys at times.

4. Most characters still call the MC lazy when he went to the number one sword school for a year.

5. The cliche similar aged noble who hates the MC for absolutely no logical reason and is determined to utterly destroy him. He had five whole years to show off/stand out but of course had to wait until the MC was back.

**Update**

Guess what? There is a novel, and I just finished reading what's available. As of chapter 341 (200 trans/141 mtl), the webtoon follows the novel pretty faithfully (noticed one minor change). It's a 5 star rating. I can't wait to see my favorite parts in color.

Strangely, the plot is actually a fresh take on the cliche hero/demon king story line. Not my favorite, but I can deal because character development is still the main focus while the latter is slightly mentioned. I would have preferred this to be about him becoming a top wandering knight/magician swordsmen or something similar instead, but oh well.

**Spoilers**

Irene/Ilia hook up, Judith/Brett hook up, Irene's sister/Lance hook up, The Man In The Dream is his past life, Ogre is son/once crown prince of one of the top 10 strongest, Irene develops all 5 elements, Ilia's brother joined Demon King's team, Khun gets assassinated/body snatched (Demon King), Ingred becomes their friend/part of team, All 4 have become world renowned/top strong

1. I love Ilia's dad and his interactions with Irene.
2. The romance is better than most actual romance novels.
3. Judith almost leaving Brett a couple of times, thinking that it would make her stronger, was just stupid/annoying after a certain point. I get her history/personality, but it just felt too unfair for Brett. He's way more invested and makes more of an effort than she does towards their romantic relationship. Judith almost giving up and walking away when they were both attending a dance party as a couple from a duel that she lost was my breaking point. Thankfully, she's finally starting to figure things out, but it's a little too late for me to care anymore.
4. Lulu's been acting all mysterious and disappearing lately. The author's probably holding out for the climax to reveal it (her past?). I think that she maybe one of the long lost mythical creatures from long ago and knows ancient magic/important info (temp memory loss is a plot device).
5. It would be cool if Lance becomes a Master and joins their crew/helps save the world.
6. I'm shipping Ingred with either her subordinate or Ilia's brother (plot twist).
7. Will the dwarf ever make Irene a numbered sword?
8. To beat the Demon King/save world, I think that Irene will have to learn about Yin/Yang.
9. The clown demon never dying after being defeated several times is getting pretty old. It would be awesome if TMITD finally gets his revenge by destroying him in the end.
10. The water sword. What if Irene learned to cut evil from people's hearts or the world?
11. Humans can turn into/be worse than actual demons but what if the opposite was true too? Demons can turn into humans.
12. Hopefully the ogre will upgrade and advise/help the team like he has in the past. We haven't heard from him in a while.
13. From what I understood of the mtl, the DK was intially created by Khun. As he obsessed over getting stronger, while enduring decades of negativity from himself and others, all of that darkness eventually became an existence. It secretly escaped Khun's heart since he was no longer feeding it and continued to grow into a DK that took over his original body. I hope that Khun gets his wish of a new body, or gets revenge/will passed on like TMITD. Him never reconciling with his wife was really sad.
14. Irene/others in power hardly ever solving/punishing/killing evil has gotten old as well. I get that it's all part of the main plot (DK/demons created), but I still don't enjoy reading about it.
