There are some days where you just need an easy win. Next time you are having one of those days, pull out this 6 Can Crock Pot Chicken Vegetable Soup recipe. It is almost a true dump and go recipe (there are just a couple of super simple “extra” steps) that gives you a filling and delicious soup to serve up for you and your loved ones.
I love that this is a recipe you can buy the ingredients for without an exact plan of when you are going to use them. With the ingredients being canned meat and veggies, you can buy these ingredients to keep in your pantry and be able to pull them out on a day when you need an easy recipe. Once you try this recipe, I am sure you will add it to your “go to” list of recipes!
What You Will Need
Ingredients Needed
- 28 oz can of chicken, drained
- 15 oz can sweet peas, drained
- 14.5 oz can sliced carrots, drained
- 15 oz can sliced potatoes, drained
- 29 oz chicken broth, divided (2 – 14.5 oz cans)
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1.5 tablespoon all purpose flour
Equipment Needed
- Can opener
- Can colander
- Measuring cup
- Measuring spoons
- Coffee cup or small bowl
- 2 forks
- 4 quart slow cooker
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cooking Time: 4 to 6 hours on low or 2 to 3 hours on high

Ingredients
- 28 oz can chicken drained
- 15 oz can sweet peas drained
- 14.5 oz can sliced carrots drained
- 15 oz can sliced potatoes drained
- 29 oz chicken broth divided (2 – 14.5 oz cans)
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1.5 tablespoons all purpose flour
Instructions
Stir your all purpose flour into 1/4 cup of chicken broth in a coffee cup or small bowl and set aside.
Place your chicken in your 4 crock pot and break apart with two forks into bite size pieces.
Add all of your remaining ingredients to your crock pot, including your set aside flour/broth mixture, and stir well.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
